I am imprisoned on the upper floors of the gaol. I can afford to buy my food and fuel for the fire to keep me warm in winter. My family and friends sometimes send me gifts of food. My manservant, who looks after me here, is allowed in and out of the gaol to buy food and drink from the shops in Hexham.
