By Road:The village of Wylam is located just south of the A69, about ten miles
west of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland. Use the Country Park car park,
behind the War Memorial, which lies close to the bridge over the River Tyne.

All visits must be booked in advance.

Opening Hours - Throughout the year:
Tuesday and Thursday 2pm – 5pm & 5.30pm – 7.30pm
Admission: Free – Donations welcome.

On the day of your visit:Bring activity sheets, clipboards, pencils and coloured pens.
The activity sheets can be downloaded from the Teachers' Resources section
of this website and photocopied for pupils to use when visiting the museum,
which consists of one room. Working in small groups is advised.
